What an edition holds
- The vote. The statement, the tally and the dissents, and exactly which words changed since the meeting before.
- The words. What each voting member said that week, in their own words, with the passage that carries the stance.
- The index. The Fed Sentiment Index reading, its move over thirty days, and who moved it.
The schedule
The newsletter runs on the Committee's clock. A decision edition the evening of each of the eight scheduled meetings. A Friday edition in the weeks between when voting members are speaking, about five a cycle, and one the Friday before the blackout that closes the record. The Friday inside the blackout is skipped, and the skip is stated, not hidden.
About 45 editions a year. The dates are on the calendar.
